thanks for your blog! somehow this helped me realize the things i must do. i am really struggling with myself for years. i forgot myself because i was too busy loving and taking care of other people that also contribute pain & hurts to me. i guess it’s time for me to be with myself.

“It won’t always be be easy, but your relationship with yourself is the most important relationship you will ever have.”

This post is so sad and the above quote particularly so. No where in the scriptures or tenets of any of the world’s religions or philosophies will you find direction to “love yourself”. Love your neighbor, love your God, yes, but not yourself.

It’s this type of thinking that led to the narcissism of the 60s and the degredation of values that lead to mutual respect.

Self-Respect, maybe, but not love.
