Flowering of the Human Consciousness – Eckhart Tolle (Review)

The Flowering of the Human Consciousness is a 3.5 hour movie featuring the popular author, Eckhart Tolle.  He has written two best-sellers – The Power of Now & A New Earth.  While there are some good practical tips for daily living, as with most authors and so called “gurus” in the human potential movement, the world-view and things presented in this movie do not make any logical sense.  

Many people have dreams and desires and often through sheer desperation, they will try anything to see those dreams come true.   Unfortunately, people like Tolle mislead them into thinking that they need to stop thinking to be happy, get what they want, etc.  The problem is that when one stops thinking, they are easily led into even more dangerous realms by unscrupulous folks that seek power and money.  I am not saying this is Tolle’s motivation for the work he does.  However, he is part of a movement that, as a whole, leads people away from Truth and into the realm of un-reason and false hopes.
