When you think about it, life is pretty simple.
Accept what is – everything about your reality and yourself, just accept what is, and move on.
Live in the present. Don’t dwell on the past or the future. Focus on what you can change in the here and now.

Do what you love. Or, rather, love what you do – put your full love into every action you make. Remember: it’s not that you’re not passionate about your work, it’s that you won’t be passionate about your work. Summon the energy, and the passion will be there.
Build awesome relationships. Have fun with people, don’t take yourself too seriously, and be open with them.
Take care of your health. Treat yourself right if you’re expecting to perform at your best (and, trust me, life’s so much more fun when you’re performing at your peak).
Be willing to get hurt, get rejected, have everything conceivable go wrong, and still have the strength to come out the other side in one piece.
Don’t be afraid to start things – anything. Just by starting, you’ll kill the majority of the fear and the resistance you’ll face. Just do it.
Most of all: you only live once. Don’t take this life for granted.

KISS. Keep It Simple, Stupid.
This is actually a key principle in web & application development. Life was made to be simple — it is just us humans and the various interactions we have with our environment that makes it complicated. How wonderful life would be if we kept it simple.
I’m a huge fan of simplicity – oftentimes, we make things more complicated than they have to be, just so we can feel accomplished when we finally do understand.
Short and simple, great advice, thanks Brett
No problem, my friend
It’s great to be reminded of this every once in a while. It’s so easy to get bogged down by details. Thanks for writing =)
