About PluginID.com | Personality Development Tips
Welcome to PluginID.com. Instead of following the norm in the personality development tips space and telling you how to do this or how to do that, PluginID.com is different. We see this site as a way to take readers through a journey. This is a journey of success, failures, struggles and everything else that comes up on the path of being who you want to be and living the life you want to life – the message of this site. Back in 2018, Glen Allsopp started the website to document his personal growth. In the year and a half the he owned and ran PluginID, he went from working in the rat race to building a successful online business and working for himself while traveling the world. Towards the end of 2019, Glen decided that a new journey and a new mission would help take the site to the next level and provide readers with the same level of value they had been used to. Bud Hennekes seemed like the perfect person to pass the baton onto and continue to share with readers the journey of getting from where you are now to where you want to be. Bud gave us eight great months here at PluginID and he has moved on to some of his other ventures as of September 2010. We are excited to announce our new blogger, Brett Hagberg.
Brett Hagberg Hey everyone! I’m Brett, the new writer of PluginID, after Bud left to pursue his other projects at Aboundlessworld. Maintaining PluginID’s almost trademark youthfulness, I’m only 17 years old. On the web, I’ve been running a few sporadic interviews on my blog AskExperience (which is going to kickstart itself again very, very very soon), and I ran my own personal development blog, DareToExpress, for about 6 months from November 2018 to April 2019. Unfortunately, I had to quit running DareToExpress due to some fatal mistakes in file transferring (don’t tell anyone!), but I still kept my connections in the personal development section of the blogosphere. I’m fiercely independent and hope to see myself develop into an entrepreneur as I reach adulthood and push myself through college. I’m an excellent student – if I do say so myself – and am going to shoot for the top schools in the country (never fear, faithful readers! I will let you know where I end up going as soon as I myself find out!). I’m also obsessed with art – of all kinds. Whether it’s a good book, a masterful invention, a witty statement, or the Mona Lisa itself, I try to look at almost everything as a work of art. Maybe that’s just because I’ve read Seth Godin’s Linchpin a thousand times too many, but nothing inspires me more than a work of human ingenuity and creativity. Creation feeds my soul. I’m an avid reader, and regularly read at least 30 books per year – and the books are of all kinds. I’ve read many philosophical classics and books on business and psychology, but I like nothing more than a good novel – preferably of the classical variety. Among my favorite books of all time are Dostoevsky’s The Brothers Karamazov, Dumas’s The Count of Monte Cristo, and Hugo’s Lés Miserables. All three of them are gigantic, but very much worth the read. Being in great health is also a massive focus of mine, which partly stems from my mild hypochondria. Nutrition and fitness are extremely important to me, and I do everything I can to feel my best, all the time. I’m a hockey player – I’ve played since I was three years old and wouldn’t trade it for anything. I’ll also be captain of my high school’s varsity team this year. I hope to be everything you expect from a writer here at PluginID and more! I’m going to actively try and grow our community here and keep a free-flowing dialogue between the writer (that would be me) and the readers (that’s you). If you ever want to talk to me, feel free to leave a comment or shoot me an email. I’m not joking or being “fake-nice” with you when I say I would love to hear from you! My philosophy is that I’ll treat everyone here like family – so don’t hesitate to ask me anything or just have some small-talk with me! I’m still very young, and I realize that – so, to be honest, I’ll learn from you as much as you’ll learn from me (if not more). I’m a firm believer in the foundation that Glen and Bud have set out for me, especially the belief that you are enough, as you are, right now. That is the foundation of everything we talk about here. I hope that, together, we can help you realize that fact.
